PC Specs:
Windows 7 x86
2.8ghz dual core Athlon II
5Gb DDR 3 memory 1066
ATI/AMD SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6570 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card
All drivers & Updates are current.
HD Homerun Prime FW:20130328
NPVR 2.6.2
XBMC 12.2 Frodo

Having issues with LIVE TV locking up when recording 1 or more channels.
Freezes up every time when recording is completing. I've tried older versions of XBMC and also tried older NPVR still locks up/freezes.
Also noticed that it will freeze sometimes even when not recording anything .

I know with x86 5gb of Ram is useless but did not want to use x64 OS. Figured x86 will always be compatible with odd applications.
As far as I have read it appears that NPVR is really the easiest PVR software to get up and running. This is why I haven't tried any other PVR software.

Any suggestions are welcome. Right now I implemented WMC & WMC Guide into XBMC.Windows Media TV works fine can record no problem. Would prefer I get the built in Live TV in XBMC up and running.

What is your source? The HDHR Prime is for FiOS or digital cable and will not record Copy Protected Content without a CableCARD or outside Windows Media Center, nor will it work at all with OTA broadcast TV.

With FIOs all channels but HBO & Cinemax are copy freely flagged. The lockups happen on any channel regardless if its OTA local HD or standard.

I don't think that these PVR's are as mature or as stable as WMC. Why not just use that?
