My old HTPC motherboard bit the dust and I replaced it with a new Intel i3-3245 and ASRock H77 ITX motherboard. The motherboard has a CIR header which I think is neat because I can use an internal IR receiver and not run any cables to the outside of the case. Is there any other benefit to the CIR receiver? Also, I can't find much information about these online, does anyone have a recommendation for a CIR receiver that will play nice with a Harmony remote and XBMC as my primary playback/browsing software?

Thanks
Smitty

Does anyone know which Socket 1150 motherboards that have a CIR header? Doesn't seem like the new line of ASRock have it.
