Well I have had my FlexRAID up and running for around 3 months now and have ran quick-validate, validate and update and verify every so often manually. I was wondering what is a good schedule and how often should I run these or setup scheduling for these commands.

Thanks!

If you don't run update then your parity data only reflects your system since the last update. So that should be ran once per day/night.

I run validate once per week right after the nightly update.

Verify runs once per month, but mine fails every time.

I've done the troubleshooting steps to re-run just the failed bits and I guess it eventually passes those test, but it always fails a verify. Validate passes every week it runs so I just don't mess with making verify pass anymore.

My server just emailed me saying Verify Success. Validate emailed me two days ago with Success. It paid off to ignore the failures.
