I have started to become disillusioned with Newegg. Their customer service has taken a dive recently. I recently tried to call about an order - I placed two by accident. The first order took over an hour to appear in my Recent Orders area, so I figured I messed up. I ordered again and then a few minutes later the first order showed up. I tried to cancel it, but one of the two items was from their new Marketplace (which I hate) and I cannot just cancel that...I just email the vendor. The other item I immediately canceled but tried to call to get them to do it before they charged my card and then had to refund. No luck, never did get a human either time I called.
I always used Newegg for their customer service. They cost a little more than other places, but it was worth it. I now get equal to, or better service, from Amazon...and better prices there too.
