Does anyone know why the aspect ratio would be constantly changing when playing a movie? The black bars get smaller and bigger and it is making me dizzy.

Couldn't pour water out of a boot with instructions on the heel.

Do you know what Nemesis means?

Check you haven't turned on 'crop black bars' - not at my HTPC at the moment, so can't remember its location.

Some movies have a mixture of 2.35 (theatre release) and 1.78 (IMAX) scenes intentionally. IIRC, The Dark Knight, Transformers 2, etc.

No - when playing a video, call up the Video OSD - press 'm' on keyboard then navigate to the video settings.
