Just downloaded this with a peak of 666 mbps on my GigE connection. Creepy high dude!

It looks slick. For some reason madvr reports limited range (best guess).

Weird, madvr said it was a DCI-P3 file and it looked bright red for me. I had to override it.

It always does that for files with 2048 pixels height. I already complained to madshi about that, but apparently he thinks its working as intended. smile.gif

2048 height or width? MediaInfo shows 2048 width and 858 height. smile.gif

You did? I don't remember...

My thinking was that videos with a 2048 or 4096 width should be DCI-P3, because that's not a size usually used by anyone, except for DCI. But if there are now such video files out there, which are still using BT.709, then probably I should remove the 2048/4096 -> DCI-P3 automation. I really wish video encoders would stamp the true matrix and primaries into the bitstream instead of requiring video renderers/players to *guess* (and madVR only guesses if it has to)... frown.gif

The ProRes sample in question here probably even could have such information, but i guess for ProRes it may not be parsed yet. Its not really the most common format people decode with LAV Video for example.
