Already have a Harmony one I bought from a friend for $30 and a HD homerun dual I bought last year for about $70. Also have Windows 7 from my broken laptop.

Any recommendations on using this setup as some type of nas server? I would like to access movies and recorded tv shows from iphone or android tablet.

Thanks

Ended up spending more than i wanted but I I got some decent deals.

******Added build pics 9/29/13******

Parts came in and I put it together late last night. Took my time as I've never build a pc before. Ended up putting both hdd under the optical drive because of power cord length. Good news is I have room to add another 3.5 hdd in the future! Fired right up. Got windows installed. Runs cool and seems pretty quiet. My old dell laptop is louder. I will update all the drivers, etc tonight and hopefully have WMC ready to go. Anyone know where I can by a filer to but on the right side of the case where the fans are to reduce dust intake?

I realise the case you picked is compatible with 2.5" drives but why would you get a bunch of laptop hdd's when you could have got a single 3.5" drive that is bigger and probably faster for roughly the same price?

Plex should be able to stream the recorded shows to your portables.

Lastly you really should ask for help before placing an order.
