Hello.

I think one of my old Air2PC-ATSC-PCI HDTV tuner cards, from 2005, died earlier today since it can't seem to get any signals from any antenna. My other one is still fine.

Does anyone know what's good PCIE (PCI slots are hard to find in newer motherboards these days) HDTV tuner card to get? They need to be compatible with both Windows XP+ (use DVB Viewers with my old card) and Linux (Debian stable).

Thank you in advance. smile.gif

Is it compatible with Linux/Debian too? Does it come with any software recorders since I don't have Media Center?

Why not use network attached tuner, like SiliconDust HomeRun Dual?

6 TV's in the house on FiOS and we only pay $4.99/month to connect them all!!! Power to the CableCard and WMC7!!!

I could, but my old Linksys WRT54GL isn't that stable (likes to disconnects) and only 100 Mb/sec. Won't that be a problem for 1080i HD OTA recordings and playbacks?

Last I heard they are not compatible with Linux. (Only reason I was never able to try out MythTV)

http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Category:ATSC_PCIe_Cards doesn't list this 188 one. I think I might get http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV-HVR-2250 ...
