I am contemplating going to a 3-monitor setup, but I am currently using my Radeon 7970's HMDI sound capabilities. I run it to a 7.1 Pioneer receiver, and then either run the speakers or headphones, and an HMDI-out to my monitor. If I add two more monitors to the mix, how do I keep my sound option? I am not willing to give up the use of my receiver as sound is worth more to me than more screens for my gaming.

In terms of LFE, size does matter!

Run the HDMI to the receiver first and then a cable from the HDMI output from the receiver to one of your monitors.

And that's it? So basically the same as I'm doing now?
