Hi, I got new receiver sony str-dn1040 and a videocard ati hd 7730, and tv sony kdl-40ex500. I connect ati hd 7730 to receiver with hdmi 1.4 cable. From the receiver to the tv is another 1.3 hdmi cable. When playing blue-ray movie on hdd with total media player 5, powerdvd13 only bitstream dts, I chahged my hdmi cables with new 1.4 hdmi cables. I set to stereo in sound properties of windows 7 64 bit, on sound properties of suporting format I have all dts, dts-hd, dolby digital...16 and 24 bits 8 channel, 44.1, 48, 96, 192 khz. I tried to play m2ts file from blueray with dts-hd sound with mpc-hc, but there was no sound. I think to format and install fresh windows 7 64bit and to try again. I would be very grateful if you help me to solve this problem.
