Just curious if there is a "proper" way to add movies in this situation? I currently have 6 hard drives in my server that Drive Pool makes into 1 hard drive of course. Just wondering if it's best to add movies to any hard drive I choose that has space or if it's better to add them to the JBOD that Drive Pool created and let it essentially 'choose" what hard drive to actually send the movie to? I saw a option in Drive Pool where it could "balance" the pool,so just assumed perhaps it would be better to operate using the JBOD it creates. Opinions please.

Add to the drive it created - isn't that one of the benefits - no need to search for free space.

Yes I've only recently been introduced to the benefits of DrivePool - thanks to dbone1026 cheers fella. Its such an easy change to introduce and a quick and easy solution to file allocation, brilliant.
