Question Intel HD4000-latest drivers only capable of interlaced output

I'm really at a loss on this one.
Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit SP-1 Intel i5-3570k/HD4000-ASUS P8Z77-V LK- HDMI
XBMC Gotham 13.0

Recently upgraded to the Intel drivers-15.33.22.3621- and am now unable to set the resolution to 1080p/60.
Change settings/system/video output/resolution to 1080p system resolution changes to 1080i/59.
If I change the resolution using Intel or Windows interface all I get no output signal and black screen.
Prior to the firmware update this was not an issue. I uninstalled and re-installed the drivers but am having the same issue. Nothing else has changed but the Intel drivers.
Any direction on this would be greatly appreciated.

Uninstall the driver, clean the registry, e.g. with Driver Cleaner, $10, then re-install the driver.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Not sure what actually solved the issue.
I think it may have been that I installed the drivers over VNC.
Uninstalled drivers, rebooted, re-installed drivers. Desktop res was fine but XBMC was still 1080p/50.
Closed XBMC, desktop res was still at 1080p/60, opened XBMC and it was @ 1080p/60??

What the heck-the issue is back.
Desktop set at 1080p/60, XBMC set to 1080p/60 but 1080p plays back at 1080p/50.
1080p/24 plays fine as do other components playing the same content.
This is driving me nuts!
