We just got a bunch of 3D glasses and were excited to watch a few movies in 3D. I put them all in ISO format on my NAS for easy access and I loaded it up in PowerDVD. It plays and sounds just fine except every now and then, with no predictable timing, I will get a flicker on the screen. it feels like the screen is 'winking' when you look through the glasses. As in the picture will go dark for a second and pop right back up. Its not the glasses, because I have pinpointed it to the video itself. The whole frame seems to jump, and its not like this happens every 5 seconds or something, it happens on specific scenes, but is evident in every movie I've tried so far.
I have eliminated my equipment because I tried on two different TVs, with various equipment and at the same time segment on the same movie, this happens. I'm running a couple of Haswell NUCs on windows 7 using powerDVD 15. I haven't messed with the settings, its all default. It's either powerDVD itself, or there's something about the intel HD 5000. I have tried the latest intel display drivers, and older ones, no difference. I have tried toggling various 3D settings in the intel control panel, and sometimes fixed it, and sometimes it didnt. I have no clue what's going on, have any of you dealt with something like this? I know its gotta be some sort of setting that needs to be turned off (like the 29/59 issue on WMC) but for the life of me, I dont know what it is. And the flicker is very distracting when it happens so its not like I can ignore it (especially now that I'm constantly looking for it). Any ideas/help??
