So I just plugged my roku into my network and watching a movie via Plex says loading please wait. I am using my wife's 7 year old laptop and a WD my world book TB drive that is hooked to the network to stream movies. The laptop is old and slow. Could that be the problem? Or the roku? Heard the Nvidia is a better option. This obviously is a make shift system, but I would like to know what the slow culprit is in the system. The Internet is 105 Mbps through Comcast. Don't know the exact speed, but does Internet speed make a difference?
