Hi guys,

I reformated my Harddisk today and did a clean installation of WIN XP Pro + SP1 + WM9. I was able to select SPDIF out from Power DVD XP but not WinDVD Platinum which I used to be able. Do not know why, anyone can kindly help me?

I am using M-Audio Delta 410 Soundcard. Thx.

Funny, I had a similar, but opposite problem. I have a similar setup, but the Delta DiO 2496 card and I could play DD 5.1 properly through WinDVD Platinum but PowerDVD was unable to recognize my digital audio card and stated there was no available digital output.

Finally got what I wanted today.

Under Control Panel --> Sound And Audio Devices --> Audio Tab, choose SPDIF as Default device.
