I just noticed yesterday that when I put powerdvd to use fullscreen (not a fullscreen dvd but to get rid of the desktop etc.) it's actully a small black border around the desktop.

E.g. If I'm using the normal winxp desktop and adjust the width after the desktop and then switch to pdvd fullscreen mode, the picture doesn't have the same width as the desktop, creating a small gap between the picture and the border of my screen.

Of course I can adjust the width to match the fullscreen mode but wouldn't the "crop" introduce e.g. scaling artifacts ?
I run the desktop at 1280x720.
