I'm a newbie at burning. Just got AOpen CRW1232A which came with Nero5.0, now updated to 5518. I have done single CD burns that work and play fine. Now wanting to get an 812mb avi off my HD, in a playable form. Can I use Nero to get it to "bridge" (is that the right term?) across multiple CDs, or do I need to break it apart first, and what program would I use for that?

I'm not sure what Nero does in this situation, but you can easily break the file (at your desired point)using virtualdub.

Once the file is split; you can just drag it over (use the wizard and create a new CD-ROM)and burn. If you are making a DivX, you might want to include an auto-launcher (that enables the codec to be installed if it is not already)...
