Ciao ,
I send another message to ask for help .
I have Ati Radeon 32ddr, Pioneer dvd 106 firm.1.09 , Celeron 766, 128mb ram and Power dvd 3.00vers.2.50.1307. Win98.
My problem is that first I can't clik on the "hardware accelleration " in Power dvd setup, is it right?
I have been told that couldnt do this means my Ati Radeon is not properly installed or not right set up in bios (?).
I can't see a dvd becouse it goes "jumping" frames, and often arrive message "your dvd could be not good , (detail : please clean it ) or at worst it freeze the image and I have to close powerdvd and restartit. This happen with Dolby digital (I can hear from spdif Ac3 and Dts with no problem)DVD , but with that one in DTS power dvd goes freez onlyt after 10seconds!!
It is 2 weeks I sleep 4 hours for get ok my Crt setup(Nec XG135 LC) and now that I got it almost well, I am not sleeping to get my new htpc ok http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/frown.gif
Thank you so much for help.
Ciao

Have you click on the DMA box under
Device manager click on cd,properties and DMA box checked
Do the same for your Disk drive.

And if you do a search you can find other tweaks in the registry.
I was running 98se but switched to windows ME and seems to work great for me.
The only thing is my ATI player seems to need more memory than windvd or powerdvd.
It drags in the menu mod but the movies play smooth.

Thank Hugomed !!
Becose I tried to get Dma checked also on the other cd-writer that was on the same cable of the Dvd pioneer....so my windows went crash !
I understood that the problem was the Yamaha cd-writer...so I simply disconnected it and now everything goes right!!
wowow I am so happy ! http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif
Now I go to check all my Dts dvd at least !!!
Thank you again for help
Ciao
