Hello guy's,

what do I do wrong ?
I deinstalled the NVidea drivers and installed the standard VGA adapter and when I change
my card to the ATI Radeon 64MB VIVO the pc looks up
and gives me an eror message in the Bios after rebooting
with the "old" NVidea 32MB card.
With the ATI card my monitor goes in stand by ?
Black screen and nothing I can do of course !

The error says "improper external cpu speed setting" ?

My pc config is ...

Windows 98 Second Edition
Asus A7V version 1.02
T Bird 1.1 GHz
128 MB PC 133 memory

All the help I can get is welcome ...

Thanks Fozzy

Sounds like you reset your CMOS accidently.

Get into CMOS and set the CPU speed to match the speed of your CPU.

AMI BIOS systems enter setup by pressing the delete key, other systems may have different ways to go into BIOS setup.
