Looking for MadVR setting for nonHDR 4k set.

I have a nice 4k non hdr set. Also running a gtx960 4gb ram in a HTPC. I am only interested in running UHD blu ray remuxes that have been recently available. After playing around with setting I believe I have the HDR setting in Madvr working pretty well and have decent color coming from the player. The pic is a bit dim so I have it running at 125 nits to make for the brightest picture, so not sure if that's right? Question I have is what other setting would improve a remuxed UHD bluray file already at 2160p besides the HDR conversion.

Does chroma upscaling or artifact removal help pic quality at all in this case?

How can I make it a bit brighter?

Image upscale and line doubling I am assuming no longer applies since its at 2160p?

Please recommend any setting that will enhance the quality within my 960 limits.

Thank you
