Wondering if I will be able to connect HTPC to subwoofer concurrently with HT system. I currently run an rca jack from receiver to sub and y-split it and connect to both inputs. Would I be able to utilitze both jacks for two seperate signals at the same time?
Also will most likely be getting Time Warner digital cable & Roadrunner Cable Modem. Are there any solutions to accessing the digital cable with an HTPC?
Hope I am not excessively newbish.

I think the theory on the sub should be OK but why ?? Just route all HTPC sound via receiver and then go HTPC -> Receiver -> Speakers including sub... If you need game sound link both analogue outs as well as digital out...
There are DVB and DVT cards out there.. I must say I saw a DV(B??) card run through dScaler and it was a pretty amazing picture almost DVD quality to my (amateur) eyes... I am also assuming you could use S-Video out to PC to dScaler without any problem...
