I need to upgrade to either win 2000 or xp to remove the filesize limitations of ME. I was wondering if I should wait for xp... Do the Radeon drivers work better with XP than 2000? Any beta testers with experience?

I don't have any experiance with the Radeon cards, but I'd wait for XP. It seems faster and I have not yet (knock on wood) had a crash.

I'm testing XP RC2 Korean version(build 2526) but it is quite troublesome because whenever I install Radeon w2k driver to use ATI DVD player 4.1, it crashes. Also other networking function is still unstable with my ADSL line.
So you had better wait for the XP driver release from ATI and try then. So I am testing with PowerDVD 3.0 DTS version.
But XP is really great because there is no S/PDIF output problem without any registry hack.It just works!!

Windows XP is not "troublesome" it's the Radeon card's drivers and software that are. Dont hold your breath for your Radeon card and Radeon DVD player to work under XP. I would give it around a year.
