True. If you can schedule with Titan but RT gives you a conflict for the same reservation then it must have something to do with RT's schedule conflict code, unless a schedule from Titan automatically overwrite entries for the Fusion?

As soon as you said Grey's Anatomy I tried it. Didn't schedule. Hmmmmm there were some conflicts with Seinfeld but it should have worked.

I can't schedule it either! Is the show name causing problems because it has an apostrophe in it?

Edit: It could still be the name (Allens' routine for adding it to the DB) but I was able to manually add it directly to the DB.

I'm thinking that I need to find and fix this problem before I move on. My bad on the error message. When it says conflcit on a Fusion card it really means a DB access error. I said conflict because during testing thats what usually happened. It now will say DB access error.
I did schedule it on MYHD. Hmmmmm

This is a monumental go figure. Took out the apostrophe and it worked. Do I just take it out or replace it with a semicolon?

I couldnt tell if PLM would auto update it's ini file with new folders that were created with the MYHD scheduled recording app... so I banged out a script that does what I need it to do... feel free to use if you want
***************
This script is something that I created to compliment the PLM application.
It will parse through your top level recording directories append any
subdirectories to the bottom of the PLM.ini file. If you record your shows
into folders (folders named as the title of the show), then you might like this.
You will no longer need to go and manually update your MYHD_Params.ini to
scan the sub folders.... Each time the script is ran, it generates a new
MYHD_Params.ini file and populates the bottom of the ini file with the latest
folder information. It then calls the PLM.exe application to execute.

To use the script:
DISCLAIMER:
MAKE A BACKUP COPY OF THE 'MYHD_Params.ini' file. THIS SCRIPT WILL
MANIPULATE THE 'MYHD_Params.ini' FILE EACH TIME IT IS RUN. PLEASE KEEP
A COPY OF YOUR ORIGINAL IN CASE YOU WANT TO RESTORE TO YOUR
ORIGINAL FILE.

1. Place this script in the same directory as your PLM application:
2. Edit your MYHD_Params.ini and remove your record folders
at the bottom of the file. Save and close the MYHD_Params.ini.
3. Rename MYHD_Params.ini to MYHD_Params.default
4. In the 'CONFIG DVR FOLDERS HERE' section (above), enter your DVR top level
recording directories. Multiple directories can be listed. Example of Syntax:
Set DVRDirectories="D:" "C:\\DVR Recordings" "\\\\Server\\Share\\"
5. Save the script and set it to run at a scheduled time.

Download the script and remove the '.txt. extention, the script is called PLM_GO.cmd

PLM_GO.cmd.txt 2.7060546875k . file

Is that since you started using the beta or the beta has been working but something went south today?

Concerning the apostrophe problem, want a previous version with the fix in?
Mind sending or posting a log from the beta?

Thanks, Allen

jldet5 is correct. The log file indicates the correct program number but RT is back to putting 0001 in for the program number again.

jldet5,

Is it just the Fusion recordings that are messed up or are the MyHD ones messed up too?

Getting the correct program number now. Lots of new "info" in the LOG file. Is this basically debug info until the next official release?

First DontCare beta. No documentation yet. But to use the feature just define the programs you don't care about before any card definition. RT will put as many programs possible on the first defined card and any conflicts spill over to the second defined card and so on. Did some testing and it looks like I still have a bit of work to do with ER.

ER starts a minute or two BEFORE the hour. I try and handle programs that run over like ABC but not ones that start early. I borrowed Tim's feature where programs can be trimmed. But this would only be needed if space for the oddball reservation cannot be found on any card. Then two new options come into play TrimBegin and TrimEnd. TrimBegin delays the beginning of a program by the minutes of overrun. TrimEnd clips the overrun minutes of the offending program to the hour. Options can be specified globally or in the program entry.

If those options don't exist a normal conflict occurs and program preference comes into play. The programs are ranked by the sequnce of definition. The latter ones being higher in conflict resolution.

I'm outta town for a few days. Hope most/some of it works.

The INI file was fixed in the 3/3 version. There is still a bad reference in the ini but the first DBPATH looks to be correct.
