Sadly, I am not using RT much these days. I don't record much anymore, and when I do I use Media Center.

Sorry I can't help with your problem. I just wanted to say hi.

Yeah, its cool to hear from past users and the like. Don't have my 40' tower anymore as we moved downtown. Driving back and forth into the hills got to be a but tiresome.

Hope all is well,

Allen

I use MyHD to capture NCISLA. That is the name of the folder.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" does not work either.

Could you type the exact and full file name that you want MYHD to skip? I'm a bit confused.

NCISLA
MyHD captures the episode.
My_Playlist_Manager puts NCISLA on my playlist.
I have many others, such as scorpion, bones, gotham, player, etc
on the playlist. I want NCISLA excluded
skip does not leave it off the list

This is going to get a bit complicated so bear with.

The PLM treats the first string of characters to the left of the last period as the file name.

For the actual file "E:\myhd\NCISLA\D05-1(39)-1005.tp" the PLM treats "D05-1(39)-1005" as the file name.

This is a bug in the case of MYHD section naming architecture. When the PLM was first written there was a small effort to deal with this MYHD feature but it obviously does not work correctly in all cases.

If your want to put out a little more effort try another angle. Try ">>skip D05-1(39)-1005". I am not sure but it might work. If it does you would have to put in a skip entry for each NCISLA.

A couple of years ago the disk drive on my development machine went south. In a manner I did recover the files that were on the disk but I have not been able to successfully reinstall the C++ development environment. Good Luck.

Thanks so much for your time to answer my question.
This little program does so much for me. I am very grateful for what it does.

I gotta poke around some more. I'll name one of my files like yours and see if I can duplicate the problem. But even if I can I can't fix it because I can't get C++ compiler correctly installed. If you wanted to rename the files and take off the MYHD section names it should/probably/maybe work.

I renamed a file G:\WinTV7\NCISLA\D05-1(39)-1005.ts. I put in:
>>Skip D05-1(39)-1005
and one of the lines in the debug file was:
11/15/15 12:27:48 Skip_This_File: <<skipped>> D05-1(39)-1005(01-20-15)
So it kinda appears to work here.

I accidentally ran across another option I use. I saw an entry in my ini file
>> Skip AFolderName\
I put in
>> Skip NCISLA\
Notice the training backslash. That worked too and I would guess all files under any folder named NCISLA would be skipped.
Good Luck
