So before today I thought of RAM like I do batteries. My mobo requires DDR2 RAM so I ordered DDR2 RAM and thought - end of story. They should both arrive tomorrow. Then digging around the mobo's website, I found out that it only takes 1.8v memory with SPD timings of only 5-5-5 or 6-6-6 (tCL-tRCD-tRP). I don't know what all that means, but I did notice that none of that matches the RAM I'm getting which has 2.1v and has a timing of 4-4-4-12.

Mobo specs -

RAM specs -

My questions are -

1. Will the RAM I ordered not work at all, or will it run slower?
2. Should I not even bother opening the RAM and just order another pair?
3. Anyone know if newegg will take returns on memory if the box is opened?
4. Can someone suggest some RAM that will work with the Intel DG965OT?

I think these should work - can someone please confirm?
