Any thoughts on which of the two CPU chips mentioned in the subject line would be better for video encoding work?

I have the above two PC's lying around doing nothing right now. Thinking of making one a media server and using the other for some video encoding work.

Suggestions on which for which?

Athlon XP 3000+ is much faster than Pentium 4 2.26GHz. Please look at Tom's Hardware Guide CPU Charts 2004, DivX 5.2 encoding chart:

Athlon XP 3000+: 2 min 42 sec
Pentium 4 2.26GHz: 3 min 13 sec
