I know this is probably a noob question, but I can figure out how to add additional programs to the MCE more programs list. if you go into settings and click edit more programs, it just gives you some chek boxes for the existing apps but not a way to add new ones. I want to make a button for power dvd ultra so I can stay in MCE and not have to use the mouse.

Even if you get it to launch PowerDVD, arn't you still going to need your mouse/keyboard to open and play whatever video you're after?

Also, the MCE remote works just fine in PowerDVD. I have PowerDVD on the start menu and it opens full screen. When I'm done, just press the green button on the remote to get back to eshell.

Ok here's how I made a link for PowerDVD Ultra (to play blu-ray movies) in the More Programs List.

First open notepad.

and type this:

run = "PowerDVD.exe"
name = "PowerDVD Blu-Ray"

Then save the file with whatever name you want but the file extension must be mcl so my file is saved as: PowerDVD.mcl

Save it to this directory: C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Start Menu\\Programs\\Accessories\\Media Center\\Media Center Programs

Now with the code I gave you above no icon will be displayed when you go to More Programs, so I went to an official blu-ray website and got a blu ray icon and saved it to the power dvd directory.

To have an icon show in the More Programs list, I added one line to the script so that it looks like this:

run = "PowerDVD.exe"
name = "PowerDVD Blu-Ray"
StartImage = "C:\\Program Files\\CyberLink\\PowerDVD\\bd.PNG"

I don't know about the formats that it accepts but png files work.

It seems simple but it works. It makes it easy for everyone else in the house to play blu-ray.

Enjoy
Brian
