I was running a Geforce 2 with a great pictur and a minimal amount of the "micro studder" However, after trying a Raedon VE, and setting the card to 60 hz, my sony projector reports it as 60.7 hz...the same thing happens with 72 hz...it shows up as 72.7 hz.

Since the Raedon, I have had a pretty big studder problem...especially during pans....would the slightly increased frame rate be the cause for this....or is there another setting I could try.

I have done all the recommended mods in DVD genie...and tried all the driver versions with the same results.

PS...I get the same studder in WinDVD as well with the raedon card. I wanted to get some ideas before I decide to return it and go with the geforce2 for now.

Thanks for the help!

Get a copy of Powerstrip 3.0 and use it to set your refresh rate exactly.
That should solve your problem.

Powerstrip is available at: http://www.entechtaiwan.com .
