I bought one of these Aeromax USB HDTV tuners on ebay, and the seller states that it works under Vista, although all of the production documentation only refers to XP. But he provided a link in the auction (below) to his website where I could download the drivers for Vista.

I did so, but I can't get Vista to find the correct driver among the files I downloaded. Has anyone got one of these things working under Vista, and if so, where did you get the proper drivers?

Many thanks to anyone that can provide any help!

Here's the tuner:

And here are the *supposed* Vista drivers: http://www.electronics-etc.com/catal...uah3001v32.zip

BTW, the thing does work fine on my XP desktop, but I really bought it for my Vista laptop. But at least I have confirmed that the hardware is functional.

I found the manufacturers website (Taiwanese) and downloaded some drivers from there, but when I try to run the setup I get the same error message that I get when I run the CD that came with it -- that I need to install SP 2 for Win 2K, which is apparently what it thinks I'm running since it doesn't recognize Vista.

*** Update ***

Received new drivers from the seller that work properly with Vista. I can send them to anyone that needs them.

FWIW, I also discovered that Media Center works better than any other 3rd party software I tried for a tuner and PVR.

It works well. I took it to the office where we have difficulty picking up analog stations inside the building, and the digital came in perfectly. I'm going to pick up a little larger antenna and see how far out I can receive a signal. The little post antenna that comes with it looks to be limited to about 10 - 15 miles. But no complaints from me -- well worth the $50 I spent on it.

Sure, here's a link where you can download them. If you have any trouble with it, let me know and we'll try something else.

do you still have the Vista driver for the Aeromax HDTV receiver?
Could you send it to me?

Thanks
