I recently purchased the TV Wonder HD 650 USB to be used for OTA HD broadcasts. When used with a Core 2 Duo Vista laptop, the picture quality, etc is great. But I'd really like to use it w/ my desktop that is admittedly older - Athlon 2600+ XP, w/ a Radeon 9600, and 1.5 GB of memory. When trying to view digital channels, it finds the channels but has really choppy picture/audio - since it works great on the Vista laptop, I know it isn't reception issue. When switching to just watch analog channels, peformance is considerably better. I would have thought that my processor and video card would be enough to handle this setup - but look to be wrong. Could it be a software/driver issue or conflict? Or does this sound "normal" for that specs of my system?
