Is there a similar or better program which is capable of "no lag" real time display from a capture card while supporting both excellent video deinterlacing and non-overlay output?

I love DScaler... I'm using it with a PDI Deluxe card now. I've got my Playstation 2 input via component and I use DScaler, the PDI Deluxe, and my 7950GT to upscale the output to my 720P TV.

DScaler's deinterlacer is wonderful and the smoothest sequences in games are, well, very good looking.

The ONLY problem I have is, well, I still think the image could be cleaned up some. Like, the slight blurry factor of it.

I think that it's caused by the fact that the 7950 GT upscales the output instead of the software.

I'd like an alternative software that does really excellent deinterlacing but allows you to tweak the upscale to use different methods and not the overlay... is it possible?

I've tried The KMPlayer with DScaler deinterlacing and Lanczos upscaling... Now, my computer isn't slow, it's only using about 15% but for some reason The KMPlayer stutters now and then while displaying the video or drops frames here and there. I've also tried with it's native version of the TomsMoComp filter and still get this problem. The colors also aren't nearly as good as DScaler, no matter how much I tweak. That could be in part to DScaler's ability to auto calibrate the card where as KMPlayer has no such option. (I've moved the sliders and things under the WDM setup, but I still can't get it to show as good as DScaler...)

I tried VLC as well but VLC seems to have some issues with saving my WDM settings and does still occasionally stutter... (Not as bad as KMPlayer and my system isn't even that bad. I have an AMD Athlon X2 4200+, 1GB of RAM, 7950GT and running XP Professional...)

Well, if anyone knows better software alternatives, if any (especially those who upscale old game consoles using their HTPC), by all means let me know.

The best I've been able to do is DScaler with Sharpness and Noise Reduction Filter (I don't even think this is neccessary now that I'm using component input and I can see no difference with it on or off) using the MoComp2 deinterlacing method.

Let me know, all.

Thanks in advance!!! :
