I was wondering if anybody would by chance have the source code for windva....

I'm sure its a long shot, but I was hoping to have a programmer friend look at it and try to make it Vista/Win7 compatible. I really *really* want DVA to run as a service like it yoosta-did.

I don't have the code, but am working on a replacement, since I recently upgraded my home machine from WinXP to Win7.

I've got the first generation working at my house. I have not turned it into a Service yet.

I'm also making it so that it can work with other apps, other than DVArchive. I have a Weather app, that I want to hide when it minimizes and to launch if it closes.

When I'm ready for testers, would you be interested?

I suppose I wouldn't turn it down. At this point, I'm not using my replays anymore. I've moved on to Windows Media Center and a couple of xboxes as extenders. With a new 46" tv for christmas, the HD bug was just too much. However, if it were easy, I have a couple MVPs collecting dust and my parents still use their replays.....

Too bad they couldn't be a media center extender! =)
