My first 5504 is having the "no video detected" issue after years of no issues whatsoever. I tried the clear channel twice plus net connect, which brought it back for a week, but the video has gone again. Both warm and cold resets do nothing (sometimes the video comes on for a second, then freezes and disappears), in fact, the power button is often not turning the unit back on after either boot now too. I have opened up the unit and made sure all the wires are connected firmly. I noticed that the fan seems much quieter/slower than it used to be, so I suspect the power issue (the hard drive seems fine both from that unit and others).

I do not have the ability to check and fix the power issue. I may have a friend who can do it, but I thought I would ask if anyone has any other suggestions first and to see if there are any replaytv gurus in the Denver area who might be able to help me.

Any advise is most appreciated,
