I want to take the audio left and right RCA connector outputs from my PS3 to give sound to my desktop computer speakers.

So I'd need an adapter that has a pair of RCA female inputs and a single 3.5 mm female TRS stereo output. That way I could then plug my computer speakers into this output.

But I can't find any adapters that do this. Can anyone help me?

check out www.monoprice.com In the search bar at the top type in "678". Then type in "2120". Those are the two parts which you need.

Ah ha! I see.

I'll look into this a bit more and then order.

Thanks!

Wow, what a weird coincidence.

I was just going to ask if this would work (since it's out of stock at Monoprice, I'll just drive to Radioshack and get it):

http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2102697

But I can't seem to find any splitters there. Can anyone help me find them?

EDIT:

I found two:

http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2117891
http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=3359117

But they're horribly overpriced.

Let me know if you find something cheaper.

If you go to Radio Shack they should also have their own branded cable that you are looking for under $10. I don't think they list their cables online.

I see.

Well, I went to RadioShack and got the coupler. It turns out I already have a splitter in my house, but it's being used for something else, so I hijacked it temporarily to test this setup out, and it works great! The PS3 sounds much better on my computer speakers than it did on my crappy TV speakers.

So, I just ordered the Monoprice splitter (which is not out of stock), and it probably cost me much less than anything RadioShack might have had. So for now I'll keep hijacking this other splitter until the Monoprice ones gets to me soon.

Thanks again, all!
