Check with the manufacturer to see if they have power kits available for your model recliner. I purchased two power recliners a couple of years ago and the delivery men installed power kits which came separately. We purchased the recliners on a President's Day sale. The price was reduced and the power upgrade option was included free during the sale. I think that the regular price of the upgrade was around $120+.

Worth a call or visit to the manufacturer's web site. It is probably a long shot. Controls were already in our recliner's arm sides and they did not have manual operating handles. Adding control switch and removing the manual operating handle would be required plus the kit. Kit contained motor, AC to DC converter, drive assembly, and mounting pieces.
