2 out of 5 LED Light Controllers Unresponsive

Hey guys, question for the experts among you: In my room, there are a total of 5 LED light controllers. Up until today these are all being controlled by iRule through three WiFi Gateways and ir blasters that provide the IR signal powered by an ir repeater. Today I ran IR hard wires to all the locations so I can control then with my Harmony Elite remote.

One problem that carried over from the wifi Gateway is that on occasion, two of the five zones are sometimes unresponsive. the same zones that were sometimes unresponsive before I ran the hardwired ir cables are the same zones that are sometimes unresponsive after the hardwire IR cables were run. Any idea what could be causing this? Do I need to replace the controllers? Any input would be most helpful, as I was hoping the repeater-->ir cable chain would eliminate the problem, not replicate it. Thanks in advance!

I'm not exactly clear on your setup, but the first thing that comes to mind when you talk about losing connections like this is - are all your devices on the network set to use a static IP?

What brand/model are these IR controllers? How are they connected to the network (specifics!)?

The more detail you can provide, the easier it will be to help!
