Evergreen today has released the DN-82623, a Headphone Amp that supports four different inputs including RCA, Digital In, and USB DAC. The DB-82623 comes with a Dual FET-Input, Low Distortion Operational Amplifier TI OPA2604. Right now it's only available in Japan with no word on a western release date. Stay tuned.

not at all. If I have a DAC, it's gonna be better than the one they include. If I don't then I have no need for the rca.

Looks relevant to the HiFiMAN EF2A, but as a solid-state solution versus the hybrid tube amplifier in the EF2A. Very interesting indeed.

It looks exactly like my SMSL T-amp. The box and faceplate appear nearly identical, other than the headphone jack.

Because the headphone market segment is experiencing continued explosive growth and headphones sound better when properly amplified, just like speakers do. Just as AVS products may seem like overkill to the non initiated, a headphone amp may seem unnecessary at first.
