I agree with you zuluwalker. I hope mainstreaming will not affect the overall quality of the product.

Are there any reviews on their equipment?

Does anyone here have anything to say about the sound and quality?

It is a secret. Pro gear is elusive.

Being that Sherbourn was primarily used in professional installations, it very likely the end users do not know enough about their equipment to do a review, or compare to other brands. On the other hand you may find in this community some who are capable of such a review and do own the equipment. Perhaps post a thread asking for feedback? This thread does not address that question, and therefore lacks the content you are looking for.

I own three PA5-200's and I find them very powerful, clean, and well made. They provide a good deal of excitement during movies and concerts. The price was just right for us, and the 10 year warranty is remarkable.

Jade Design, the parent company, also makes Emotiva and Emotiva Pro gear, which get consistently good reviews. Jade/Emotiva acquired Sherbourn a bit over two years ago and consolidated manufacturing at their Tennessee facilities. Quality should be a non-issue.
