Either way is fine. I tried it both ways. I found it faster to use the front panel. But the new update might have made the other more responsive

I did not use anything to set it up just the display on the krell.

I just reread this article to see if I missed anything....

I have a question about the "stereo pair"

The way you describe it, Mark, it sounds like the No only for the FR and FL channels considered a stereo pair but so are the FL Surround Left, FR Surround R, Surround R and Back right? etc?

Trying to enjoy the simple things in life.

No problem. I will answer your question though I think. There is a firmware update that has solved that problem with only stereo pairs. Now speakers are treated individual. So if you have unequal distances no worries anymore.
