I saw him on a HGTV show years back installing a HT It was an expensive installation and the work crew was large and the show high lighted how TK was saving the customer money by using a painted on the wall screen. I threw up. The labor alone would have cost the customer more than a decent Chinese meal err I mean screen. Didn't bother Theo one bit that the surface was sheet rock, something not really suitable for a sharp picture. Theo does extremely nice work and I doubt he would even suggest painting a screen on a wall. You do not hire TK to save money. You hire him to get a great theme room. Something you will see in an AV interior mag.

Grindstaff that runs Grindstaff Chevrolet in Johnson City,TN hired Theo to build his Home Theater in his Castle. I've been keeping up with Theo since I saw his work in Video and Video Review magazines back in 1989-1991. Theo is right how Laserdiscs were a vast improvement over VHS picture quality. Although RCA CED Videodiscs were left out. CED Discs were a slight improvement over VHS but were the same size as Laserdiscs. Also, Video Games have a dedicated room by themselves. It is called: AN ARCADE! Youtube search for Private Home Arcades and you will see what I mean.

Theo's business is interior design. He is a home theater interior designer. He is not a hardware engineer. It is the job of the integrator to work with Theo and the homeowner to engineer a great video and audio system, either by working within Theo's design, or by stretching it in acceptable ways to accommodate the necessary hardware. If you want s Start Trek theater, call Theo. Then call your trusted dealer to engineer the system, and give him Theo's number so that they can coordinate.
