I certainly would not buy a LeEco product now that their buyout was cancelled. A sinking ship!!

Well, I wouldn't buy a Vizio either. They had a real nice competitive looking product lineup 2 years ago when they were making sure they looked good in the marketplace to attract a buyer / investors. Since then it's sort of languished as they're falling behind and not keeping up appearances.

Vizio makes a pretty good TV for the money and I have a feeling that they quality will be going downhill after this acquisition.

I've never heard of LeEco. Wonder if they would have been a good fit for Vizio. I guess we'll never know.

I bought two Vizios in the same day and ended up with none at the end of the day. The first one had absolutely no sound straight out of the box, the second one had a cluster of dead pixels after about 2 hours of viewing time. Got a Samsung the next day and have had no issues since.

True, it shows that the company might not be in the best financial standing when considering to be acquired. But now that it fell through, the products will likely suffer.

LeEco has run into financial difficulty

It's being reported LeEco is laying off hundreds of workers. I was thinking of buying one of their TV's. I'm glad I didn't. I bought a LG that I'm very happy with.

You're right! It was about 2 years ago that I was actually really impressed with some of their models. Haven't seen them make as much of an impression this model year. This series of events might explain why.
