Intelix Releases HDTV-ready DVI over Cat 5 Balun

Middleton, WI- Intelix LLC, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video equipment and software, recently announced the release of a DVI balun capable of distributing a high-quality DVI (digital visual interface) signal up to 150 feet over two inexpensive Cat 5 cables.

"The Intelix DVI is the latest addition to our complete line of audio/visual baluns," stated Steve Cohan, Intelix C.E.O. "Because of its high-quality, purely digital connection, DVI is quickly becoming the preferred method of visual distribution in the consumer and professional marketplace. Up until now they only limitation has been distance—the Intelix DVI changes that."

The Intelix DVI balun supports standard HDTV and VESA resolution, as well as the DDWG standard for DVI compliant monitors.

Intelix offers the broadest line of baluns in the pro AV marketplace, including solutions for audio, multiple formats of video, and VGA.
