Matt:

Rack mount cases and power supplies (650 watts) tend to be expensive - about $380 for those items alone.

The rest of it is also pretty high end. I wanted a system powerful enough to edit 1080p video for my HD camcorder, using Sony Vegas Pro 8.0. Including Windows, the other components are about $1150 at current prices, plus the HDHomeRun. Excludes the video editing, DVD authoring and other software.

Marcel,

Holy shnikes!!! Love that Lex!!!

Very very nice equipment... Impressive!!! And room. And overall appearance. I love the way you did the raised seating, with the dividers between rows.

Is your sound card bit perfect?

So, just to make sure I understand it correctly: you added a sub (driven by its own amp) to each of the fronts to complete the frequency spectrum? Then in theory you wouldn't need the dedicated LFE channel sub, because your fronts are now complete? LOL, I'm not criticizing, I am just amazed!! I've heard the lex provides tons of flexibility when it comes to subwoofer crossovers...

The Stratos is also a sweet amp, did you get it directly from Klaus??

Again, congrats on an excellent job!! And sorry for all the questions...
