Last year I registered onto AVS forums and looked and browsed for a while. As I read more and more, I soon was addicted to Home Theater. thanks to you guys

So I am a college student and the only area I have is a 10x10ft little room to work with. Through my addiction I was able to put together a 7.2setup with a 110in screen.

Here is my modest equipment list. I know it is not the best stuff, but it gets me by for what I have and can afford for now.

Samsung 52A650
Onkyo 605
Sony BDP350
Toshiba A35
PHD-205 Digital Reciever
Nintendo Wii
Playstation 3 60GB
Infinity Primus P362 X 3
Polk Audio Monitor 70's x 2
Polk Audio R50 X 2
Velodyne DPS 10 Sub
Velodyne VX10 Sub
Sharp DT-510 Projector
Focupix 110in Motorized screen

Here is my little journey
So I first began with just a Sharp 42in Aquos

I was not satisfied with the Sharp so I then I upgraded to a 52in Samsung A650 a year later after seeing the 120HZ stuff at best buy. But then I started to wonder into the projector forums here on AVS and now I also wanted to have a projector as well. As you can see I already caught the upgradeitis bug.

So here is what my super messy room looked like before all the changes and the color of the room was a light pastel blue. This was the first thing I wanted to change.

Stuffed animals are my girlfriends, not mine

So during my spring break from I decided to totally redo my room with a new color and equip it with new toys. I decided to go with Behr Soulful Music as my new color. It is a very dark purple in daylight which then turns black in the dark.

Here are some pictures of my new stuff and setup.
Speakers: the Polk Audio R50's were modified with JBL Venue Bookshelfs to be combined into one.

A view from my couch.
Samsung 52in A650

110in Focupix Screen scrolling down from the top.

Projector View of screen.

Right side and Rear Right Speaker

Left Side and Left Side Rear Speaker Also added a media storage rack and mini couch to the room.

Projector was put in the closet to gain an extra 2ft to achieve the 110in size for my little 10x10 room.

An image at night

Some things I probably want to change and work on next are getting a new horizontal center speaker instead of laying the Infinity Primus floorstander on its side since it is not the most ideal and doing some major wiring management to clean up.

Thanks for reading through my long story and looking through my progress pictures guys. I am so glad I found this form because this hobby is very fun and entertaining.

I wish I have more than my 10x10ft room to play with, hopefully when I get my own place I can have those cool looking theaters like many of you guys which have inspired me to be in this hobby

I know some may like and some my not like my little setup, but it satisfies me.

Thanks Guys

Sir, that is not a paltry or "making the best" kind of set-up at all.

Very nice. The speakers look wonderful.

I'm still trying to figure out how you're affording all of that equipment on a college budget....

I have a 10' x 12' room that is soon to be my designated home theater room (guest room). I'm glad to see all that gear in a small space since mine will be similar + 2' haha. I'm going with a 58" plasma instead of 110" though... but on second though... lol, nah I'll stick with a plasma. Mine is gonna be my weekend getaway room where I can kick back and watch sports with no distractions. I like the JBL's, I was leaning towards the polks but now I'll have to do some JBL research. Keep it up man, looking good.

Just a little update to my little Theater Room. Yesterday I was able to add curtains and lights to my screen.

Below are some pictures.
Sorry pictures arent the best quality.

Wow that's a lot of work you've put into that room... Impressive...

How long will you be living in that particular dwelling? Would be pretty crappy if you'll only be there for a year or less.

Ah but what a year it would be having your own cozy batcave.

Im fortunate to live at home since my campus is not too far away. It was a room in our house that we used as storage before and never really had much use. So I got into this hobby and I took advantage of the room not being used.

Thanks for the compliments everyone.
