Yeah...why is batman posting his system? You would think he would exercise some discretion.

If the 2 Maxx3 are 68k a pair, my guess is that there is about 500k invested in this setup (equipment only).

^^^^^^
Thanks Franin for popping this thread on top, I had never seen it before and am glad I did:).

Boonyarat, true story, I was reading your equipment list atop of the your first post, and as I was scrolling down to look at the pics, I suddenly started giggling like a kid at Toys 'R' Us. My wife asked me what was wrong with me and I showed here. Even she was very impressed, and that's saying alot.

Fantastic set up!

cheers

He had amazing gear - top class all the way. I'd love to see where he is now in his theatre upgrade.

That is an amazing system. I am going to assume that it sounds fantastic. I am wondering about heat in the room from all that gear. I have a feeling that the higher end Krell amps are mostly Class A, which are not very efficient meaning they give of a lot of heat. That room is full of gear. I would just be wondering if it was an issue. I have read great things about the Maxx 3 speakers. Opus speaker cable Damn. I know how much that would be eek.gif. I am sure it is a great sounding system for music and movies. But you do have do move to dual watch dogs or a Thor's hammer to keep it a %100 Wilson room:p. Again, a great room.

Man, I don't know how I missed this setup over the years, absolutely incredible Boonyarat, room and equipment. It was nice reading the entire thread, Boonyarat, you should move your most recent photos to the first post wink.gif Now that the Maxx's have been added to the system, the one item that stands out to me for which one of these is not like the others biggrin.gif I think is the center, even more than the subs as you have all ready upgraded to the 212's. I would say a Polaris is in order don't you, or at the very least the Mezzo? After that then add the Thor's Hammer (or two of them) like all ready mentioned. If your room was a bit wider and deeper you could have kept your W/P speakers and used them for either side or rear surrounds.

How do those JL's sound in that room? Do they blend in well with the rest of the equipment acoustically?...how transparent are they with those towers.

Yeah it might be awhile before he posts again lol. I say just look at the pics, sit back, and imagine how they sound. Man I can't get over how incredible his system is. It's probably the most high end that I've ever seen. Looks of course are subjective but there's no denying the quality of his gear.I'd be really hard pressed to find someone locally that even comes close to matching what he has, at least in the total number of pieces of gear combined. What's really cool is he knows what he likes and this isn't just some rich guy that has someone tell him what to get. That's what makes his system so cool.

He hasn't been on for quite awhile. It will be good though to see where his system is at.

What are his Opus speaker cables plugged into i.e the silver piece of equipment in the middle, they don't appear to be going to the Evo amps but to that center piece unless it's just the angle of the photos giving that impression.

That looks to be an integrated amplifier by Jeff Rowland. Another piece of fantastic gear. In case anybody is wondering, the speaker cables that are being used that go to that integrated amp start at $34,735. That is one fine system.

Thanks, I couldn't figure out what that piece was. Yeah the Opus cables are mega bucks and his aren't short runs either so the cables alone are more than most people's entire system. I do love his system.
