Kevin-I see you RSVP'd for the AIX demo?

Hahah...the SB stays for now.

Dual E15s? That must sound killer in your room!

Damn, like I've been saying--I really miss it. I upgraded that upstairs room with my old receiver (Elite SC-05) and did the NRT upgrade to the Sierra-1s, but now the weak point may be the Klipsch RSW. Yeah the E15s crush downstairs and I'm glad I opted for the HP versions, but I'm still tweaking with the new Denon 4311. I really need to do some measurements but I'm afraid of what the results will tell me (move the subs to a different location). Next up, Salk Songtowers with the RAAL tweeters but that will be steep...

Hope you've been well.

Nice! Sounds like some good upgrades.

Saw earlier that you were looking for the antimode. There's one used 8033c on sale in the avs audio gear area. Was gonna get it but decided bass shakers would be better (tough to explain the SO that I wanted an eq when I alrready have audyssesy lol)

No subwoofer I've heard has been able to produce the bass I've experienced in the Corps!

Must..stop...buying...every bluray release...

Thanks for the heads up Kevin. I am not sure I really need it. It was going to be used for my 2ch system but the bass sounds pretty damn tight and clean. I think I need to get an Omnimic system first and do some measurements.

Very nice set-up you have. One of the best wire management efforts that I have seen. Nice gear as well.

Ha! So that's your secret. I'll have to give that a go, since my system's a mess.

Do you have any pix of the back? I'd love to see the wiring job, since everything is so clean from the front.

I envy you your dual SVS subs... a second PB12-NSD is getting higher on my list every day!

I used a lot of zipties in my 2ch computer setup. With the HT, I basically just hid the wires from view. Nothing special, just tucked strategically behind and under the tv stand so I can't see them from the front.

Thanks, they do look good and that was part of the reason I got them. I especially like the curved back.

As far as sound quality, so far so good. They are very accurate and revealing. I especially noticed the super accurate midrange. The Polks have very artificial sounding midrange compared to these. It was most obvious when I was watching the All Star game. The commentators sounded different, in a good way.

I have heard that they do need some time to break in to open up a bit more but so far I am impressed considering the money spent.

The only "negative" is that they really do need high res sources (bluray, FLAC, etc.) I tried to stream some MP3s from my NAS and it sounded pretty crappy...

Can't raise or move the TV. It's anchored to the stand.

I thought about getting a center channel stand and placing it in front of everything but I am not sure if that will work because it may block some of the IR ports.

So I don't know what I will do yet...

Yeah I still have the one I was using with the old Polk center. That just barely worked because that speaker was only about 10 pounds. The KEF is double that. Anything heavy on top of the TV affects the convergence because it is a rear projection...

I've been doing a phantom center so far. It's not too bad but sometimes I do wish I had the actual center for movies....

Yeap, that would definitely be ideal! I just don't have the room for a rack on either side though. I could put it somewhere in the back of the room but damn, talk about some long ass cable runs...lolz...I am kinda stuck....

Perhaps put a center on a shelf attached to the wall behind the TV?
