Those bamboo stands look cool. Are they solid or hollow? How heavy are they? Also, how are you running your speaker wire through them?

Hollow, 20 pounds each, speaker wire runs behind the blinds.

Not 2 AVRs, just one, the other is a stereo receiver.
The HK AVR 340 has only 55W per channel, and the stereo 3485 120 W per channel, delivering much more power to the front towers.
