Here is my NEW setup.. I have a dedicated theater room custom built this year I had it built by a local Contractor to my requirements.

*The rear stage is 2x10 packed with Roxul and with two layers of 1inch ply glued and screwed, Tar Paper In between. It has 20ft of custom vents (2x6ft, 2x4ft) in the surface to act as a bass trap.
*The front stage is 6 inches high and packed with Roxsul insulation, It also has two 1" ply layers on top, glued and screwed.
*Ceiling has a double layer of Roxul and channel to prevent transfer to the upstairs.
*Theater walls are rocksul and double screwed and Glued drywall.
*Double Theater doors are solid core with magnetic closers and weatherstripped.
*LED Floor Lighting on the Stairs and between the rows of seats.
*Independent Sub Panel Circuit for Sub woofers (Quads)

I like the lamps that come over the back of the couch and the TIE Fighter up front just pulls it all together.

How did you do the equipment rack if I may ask?

Anti DNR, EE, incorrect AR, lossy audio, overblown contrast, and over-saturated colors.

I really like the room. Understated but nice decor. I see you have quite the library of movies. And those are nice sconces on the wall.

How are you coming along on your upgrade research?

I ordered the Dual Drive from Pete Today... so it progresses, I appreciat all your help HTG.....

Yes that is one of the racks of movies, I will post some more racks tommorow.. I think I am at about 1500 titles

The wall sconces are just Home Depot circa 8 years ago..... I used to have a lot of posters and standees around the room and decided to clean it up last year..

BTW I researched the Monitor 11 you mentioned as well, and will go to the local stores this weekend and see what deal I can make. I wouldn't mind the Studio 100s though

Thanks, the Tie fighter is cool, one of the few pieces i left in my room. The lamps are actually just relatively cheap Halogens from a department store, they work well and you can have them on when watchin...

The Euipment rack is actually made of MDF and fastened to the hole in the wall under the stairs.. I will post you a better picture tomorrow of the back if your interested

Ah I see that now. So the area behind that wall is all hollow due to the stairwell.

Anti DNR, EE, incorrect AR, lossy audio, overblown contrast, and over-saturated colors.

Yes it is.... the entire area under the stairs is a wiring room with the network and HT hookups, everything terminates there. I will try to post pics wednesday evening

I ordered the expresso..... Pete said it looks real good and a few bucks of is good!

I been collecting movies since dvd first came out, although lately I have been getting rid of a few as I have no room left

Not sure if I will get them yet, I will only buy if I get a deal, but they look really cool and the dealers may not be prepared to cut the deal I want!

How's the system coming along Paul? You got some tweaking plans for this weekend?

You better hurry up, or take a break from tweaking, and post some new pics of the recent upgrades. Looking forward to seeing those shiny new Studio 100s and the gorgeous ULS-15 DD subwoofers.

hello everyone!the pictures you see on the wall are my 5.1 home theater.I use the flat panel home theater, when it hangs on the wall,it just looks like normal photo paper or oil painting to decorate the room.the thickness is 3cm-5cm.
