Greetings,

Admittedly, I have been meaning to share photos of my setup with you for some time. This community has single-handedly bred my interest in high quality A/V and taught me everything I needed to know to acquire the setup I have today. You have motivated me to do the research necessary, and given me the patience to acquire my components one by one over time in an attempt to gain the highest quality electronics within my means.

I have been dissuaded from making a post like this in the past simply because I do not believe that it is much to look at. A great many of you possess configurations that make me sweat with envy (with your 100" projections and $18,000 two channels.)

But it has been a lazy Sunday. The leaves are changing and the air is crisp, and I experienced a moment of reflection that left me appreciating everything I have. So without further ado, the setup that you have built.

Onkyo TX-SR606 receiver
Monitor Audio speakers (Bronze series bookshelves, center, and surrounds)
Elemental Designs A2-300 Subwoofer
LG BD590 Bluray Player
42" Toshiba Regza LCD
Logitech Harmony One

Here are my headphones and some other silly pictures that are not necessarily A/V related, but damned if you wouldn't want to join me!

Very nice, can definitely see the AVS influence on your purchases, wish I had put as much time in researching myself. Also no worries of anyone stealing your keys with monkey watching

You just pop open one of them adult beverage bottles and I will be right there!!

It's a nice well put together system and I know the MA's sound great! How do you like the Onkyo 606?

Cheers!

Ahaha, he was going to be a spot to put pocket change. Emptying the pockets of my guests with a stare that says "Donate."

Thank you sir! The scotch flows freely on movie nights! (And some other nights too. )

The Onkyo receiver has been everything I'd hoped. The Audyssey setup wizard is so clutch. We have moved two times in the past two years (renting) and it has been crucial to getting set up each time.

Your setup is plenty to look at. This forum isn't just about the hundred thousand dollar dedicated rooms. It's just a place for everyone who loves Home Audio and Video to get together and show what it means to them. I felt the same as you when I first started lurking around here. I only paid about 2500 for my entire setup and I know there are people here who spent well more than that on a single piece of their setup. Your setup looks really cozy like you could just curl up in the chair and watch movies all day. How do you like the monitor audio speakers? I was really looking at getting that same set but ended up getting an absolutely insane deal on a used Polk LSi surround system.

Yes it does! I hadn't heard that the 606 has an issue with that. Uh oh.
