Finally got around to completing the remainder of the area directly outside the theater with a new wetbar. The entire basement is *finished*, but was a little sparse. I wanted to bring things together a little better. In the area in the photos, there *was* a freestanding wine rack, a freestanding kegerator, a chest of drawers for some storage, and the popcorn machine. Nothing really flowed well together.
Anyway, here is the progression in photos.
What was done:
Replace three old flourescent lights for can lights
New wall to wall (15') wetbar in maple, with a dark cherry to old mahogany finish.
Zodiaq countertops (Corian)
Built in wine storage (2) to hold 50 bottles each
30" Marvel undercounter fridge/wine storage
Undercounter clear-cube ice maker (50#/day)
Remote controlled, LED lighting in crown, undercabinet, and in-cabinet
I reused (for now) the freestanding kegerator, in lieu of buying a new undercabinet built in.
The door to the theater is to the left of the chair in the pictures.
